Gerard Desarthe plays the role of a blind man with amazing ease.He is helped in his pursuit by French film director Joel Santoni who has extracted fine performances from him and other actors.One should see his fine performances as an actor who aimlessly wanders around Paris pretending to be a real blind man.Les Yeux Fermés is an assault on a cruel society which has failed to recognize the importance of blind people.
