Best Serie of Japan of all Times

The series was actually the best Japanese series starring outside Japan and well received by several countries around the world. Unfortunately within Japan itself the series has not been rated extremely well and this has hindered too much evaluation of it in the general context in the world. However, as a Brazilian and a big fan of the series, I realized the need to show the life changing of millions of people in my country during the maturity of this series that debuted in the old Rede Manchete. The series besides showing the whole context of fights, adventure, involving storyline with the child audience, showed much more than that, it was in the context beyond the expectations ,that a child or a pre-teen can dream, with details of Star Wars and others mega super hits of the 80s ,embedded within the plot and special effects, managed to show the human side of the hero who protected the galaxy against the evil SatanGoss. Basically the series deals with a question of a superhero coming from another galaxy that ended up arriving on earth to protect our planet from evil and evil beings that wanted to dominate the universe. However, within this scenario, various structures and chapters are established, which throughout the series ends up shaping within a peculiar society of the 80s. Showing the affective side between parents and children, the affective side between friends, the affective side between generations of families and even same affective side between good and evil. Although the series in the American context is portrayed as by the name of a giant monster hunter, the main plot seeks a trajectory involving struggles against an organization of evil ,made by Macgaren and Satan Goss (father / son), In the midst of this ,Boomerman,Jaspion, Anri and Edin came after them , to stop them. The big question of this series would be that it should came back in the mid 90s or even in the early 2000s, a shame because Toei, the Japanese company that launched this series was not interested in the continuation of it, maybe also because the main actor Hikaru Kurosaki, having fallen out with the company itself. This actor who represents the Jaspion main actor and main character of the series really made the series more cheerful, spontaneous and much more easily understood by the western audience in the aspect of family happiness ,he plays and projection of a humorous hero, and spontaneous unpredictable person . This relationship between the public and the hero was very definitive for its achievement in the West. I Wish to the members and original actors of the serie and all the people involved to make a continuation and launch it especially in Brazil, a country that welcomed and had a tremendous audience success and that 35 years later, people comment as if he (Jaspion) was such an important hero as Ayrton Senna or as a soccer player Pele or any true hero of our nation .Thanks Japan ,thank you Toei ,thank you for all the production and always please watch this serie.

    One of greatest 'metal-hero' series

Kyojû Tokusô Juspion (1985-1986 - 46 episodes) was one of greatest series of 'Metal Hero' genre ever made. Produced just after the successful "Uchû Keiji" trilogy (Gavan, Sharivan and Shaider), Juspion brought elements of this early series, with more modernity and dynamism.

Juspion (Hikaru Kurosaki) was created by Ejin (Noboru Nakaya), after a fall with a spaceship that killed his parents several years ago. Living in harmony with wild beasts at the same time where he received fight techniques, Juspion was convoked by Ejin in ownership of the Galactic Bible that foresaw that a warrior would have to face the malignant being of the galaxy, the SatanGhost, an entity capable to control giant monsters.

Thus, Juspion will pass for some planets with the Android 'Anri' (Kiyomi Tsukada) and 'Miiya' (an alien helped by Juspion in first episode) until they arrives at the Earth, where Satanghost and his son MadGalant had established and intends to create the Beast Empire.

In the initial episodes, the trams were mixed with the infantile mood of the main character, but in elapsing of the series, this mood was giving place to a more serious attitude, while the stories became more darkest.

In this series the famous actor Hiroshi Watari (Sharivan) makes 'Boomerman', who helps the hero in his battles for several episodes until one accident in real life compels him to leave the series prematurely, giving place to the Nanbara family (Mr. Nanbara interpreted by famous singer Isao Sasaki).

Juspion was shown in Japan in the year of 1985 along with sentai series 'Changeman'. In Brazil, both also divided the programming in 1988 and made enormous success. I recommend! 4 1/2 of 5.

Jaspion! The Brazilian hero of the 1980s.

Jaspion was a series of great success in Brazil in 1980 and remains fresh in the minds of many fans who are awaiting the visit of his protagonist: SEIKI HIKARU KUROSAKI. Shown on TV MANCHETE in 1988, another great hero of this generation which were very successful at that time and were shown after JASPION due to its success in previous years, have been here. Like the actor Hiroshi Watari (E SHARIVAN SPILVAN) and TSUTSUI TAKUMI (Jiraya). KUROSAKI But that is the great forerunner of a whole generation of children now grown, has not yet appeared in Brazilian territory, where he is the place that has fans all over the world. Many people when they see Jaspion be a child again just as with oar and Tsutsui. Yearns child. Saudade dos LP's, Chewing gum, toys, sticker albums of JASPION and CHANGEMAN.

One of the best jap series ever

Juspion (or Jaspion or the Brazilians) was one of the best jap series ever. Sadly it never got the due respect in Japan.

The plot was very convincing, avoiding usual scenes and repeated endings between episodes from which many jap series suffered from. Special episodes showing Jaspion's adventures in the deep space were among the best.

Even tough the special effects are not A+, the actors did their best, many of them were professionals stunts and had excellent physical prepair. Also considering that this was a K-12 oriented series, it was impressive that some episodes showed some blood and bodies.

Sadly, Japanese executives always planned such series on a short term (40-50 weeks) so they only lasted for one year. This was a not very smart formula since every year new series would show up but with very similar characters, plots, scripts and effects. They tried o turn it into a money machine but eventually one or other series was worth it. Today I wonder if they do still even making new series after the formula was "americanized" with the Power Rangers garbage.
