This film is certainly well-intentioned, but a maddeningly slow pace derailed all hopes I had of having an enjoyable time while watching this. There were a number of interesting scenes, in particular those involving Lomez and Moore, but the generally predictable story is needlessly stretched out. This is an attractive film visually, especially when the camera captures some breathtaking scenery from the rugged Canadian Shield, but they could only distract me for so long. As an hour-long film, I think that I would've liked this, but at close to two hours, it gets to be a little boring.
