Aa Gale Lag Jaa

I first saw this movie when it was first released in Mumbai (Bombay) in 1973 when I was a child. The songs, were and still are enchanting, the acting, the story and the acting was excellent. The direction was also the same. The movie, which had been filmed in the town of Simla, in the foothold of the Himalayas, northern India, has some brilliant cinema photography and especially where the song "Mera Tumse Hai Pehle" with the playback by the late Kishore Kumar is filmed. In some of the skating scenes, you can see that no stuntman or woman has been used and that the actors are doing these scenes themselves

I saw this movie again after a very long time and it still had its charm and the music and the songs "ever green." Worth to watch with your family.

One of Best

This is one of my most favorite films. When I first saw this film few years ago, I didn't paid much attention and end up not liking it. But when I saw it later, I really liked it.

Shashi Kapoor is one of my favorite legends and he's the reason I decided to watch the film. I love the 2 songs in the film like Tera Mujhse Hai pehle ka naata koi & Vaada Karo.

This film sure is worth watching. A simple family film, with not too much drama or over the top acting or scenes. Everything is good.

Watch the film, you will definitely fall in love with the Legend Shashi Kapoor. It's a very good entertainer. Must watch.

Movie is Ok but looking Hollywood copied

In this movie a man loves with a girl who trapped in a ice pond and he taken her in his house. Girl was so much suffered cold fever and he could not be leaved her alone and call doctor so he stripping her and sleep on her and save her life...then he asked apologized then later on she become pregnant but instead of marriage she leaved him on anomalous letter given by her father. She gave birth of a Child and then later on Filmy drama....I want to say, delivery without marriage, stripping and sleep on her looking so much Fishy and I think this movie is not original might be copied from Hollywood Drama, TV serial or a movie...

One of Shashi kapoor's best movies, It was love at first sight when he meets Dr Preeti ( Sharmila Tagore ). Up & downs of life, misunderstandings and years ahead, they meet again when their son unites them.

A beautiful musical Score by R.D. Burman includes some ever lasting love songs of Kishore Kumar,

A must see movie for those who have loved Shashi Kapoor.

It was a story that was brought to life by Manmohan Desai. Logic did not find a place in Desai's dictionary and he could create unimaginable situations, far removed from reality. He believed in providing non-stop entertainment and this movie had the ingredients to keep the fans engrossed.

Shashi Kapoor dominates the screen even as Shatrughan Sinha gives a stellar performance in days when he was looking to shed his image of a villain and seek roles as a hero. It was not the best of his movies, but Kapoor could count this as one of his biggest hits, thanks to a taut story and some delightful music by Rahul Dev Burman. The soulful Na Koi Dil Mein Samaya with Prem hugging Rahul is an emotional number that lingers much after the film is over. May not be a classic, but AGLJ is worth a revisit anytime.
