Kanye Debuted Another Mysterious New Song at His Fashion Show Today
I'm Losing You (1998)
For all we know, Kanye's next album, Swish, may never happen, but at least he likes to keep us guessing. Today, at the Nyfw debut of his second collection for Adidas, he unveiled another new song. Earlier this year, at his first show, he premiered "Wolves" featuring Sia and Vic Mensa, and now he's gifted fans with a new house-inspired track, reportedly called "Fade." According to Consequence of Sound, the song samples the Undisputed Truth's "I'm Losing You," as well as Hardrive's "Deep Inside," and features vocals from frequent collaborators Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone. Until we get a higher-quality recording, enjoy this rip from the show:...

Robert Pattinson in Cosmopolis (2012)
Review: Julianne Moore and Mia Wasikowska struggle to stay afloat in turgid 'Maps To The Stars'
Robert Pattinson in Cosmopolis (2012)
Cannes -- Last time I was here on the Croisette, David Cronenberg was here with "Cosmopolis," and his son Brandon Cronenberg was here with "Antiviral." It was interesting seeing Brandon make a film that felt like it came from the young and squishy heart of his father, while David made a movie that felt like a genuine explosion of anger without a clear target to land on. It is easy to say that filmmakers lose steam as they work, that age and success mellow even the most genuinely furious artists, but I don't think that's the case with Cronenberg. After all, since the year 2000, he's made three films that I think are all very strong in their own way and very different than anything he'd done before. "Spider" is an upsetting glimpse into a damaged mind, one that traps us inside looking out rather than trying to explain or excuse.

Mrc Buys Black Hole Thriller For Cronenberg
Exclusive: Media Rights Capital has made a pre-emptive acquisition of the Jonathan Lethem novel As She Climbed Across the Table, in a package that has David Cronenberg directing, Bruce Wagner writing and Film Rites' Steve Zaillian and Garrett Basch producing. Lethem is the author of Motherless Brooklyn. The novel is a love triangle among an academic, his particle-physicist girlfriend, and the black hole that comes as the result of her lab experiments to replicate the origins of the universe. The physicist dumps her boyfriend to spend all her time with the black hole -- which she calls Lack -- and the university professor will do anything to win her back, even confronting his rival for her affections and risking a trip down a cosmic rabbit hole. The premise has comedic and thriller elements, and Film Rites brought it first to Cronenberg, who has covered dangerous and creepy obsessions in...

John Lennon and The Beatles in Quatre Garçons dans le vent (1964)
Lennon Top Five
John Lennon and The Beatles in Quatre Garçons dans le vent (1964)
In honor of what would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday Oct. 9, my top five Lennon solo songs: 5. "God": "I was the Walrus, but now I'm John" -- Lennon takes the chord changes of the classic rock n roll slow dance, plays them more slowly than they've ever been played before, and builds on them some of the most moving music in all of rock. 4. "Imagine": we've heard it a thousand times, including today, as part of the Google animated logo on his birthday -- but it's still a great song -- and the idea, "Imagine no possessions," is more radical now than ever. 3. "I'm Losing You": Lennon's low-down angry voice has never been better: "I know I hurt you then/but hell, that was way back when." He considered it the strongest song on "Double...
