The little black cat sees that a movie theater is crowded to the breaking point when a show of movies about the jungle is playing. So he heads off to the jungle himself, armed with a camera to get in on the money-making opportunity.
I'm a firm proponent of Otto Messmer's Felix being one of the two best series of silent cartoons -- the other being the Fleischers' Koko the Clown, but this one isn't up to the level of the best, being a collection of standard gags from the silent era. Still, it's put together well, and there are enough grace notes to make it definitely worth seeing, especially if, like me, you're anxious to see any and all that survive.
