Anecdotes
During the shooting of Gopi in Madras. Dilip kumar gets the news of Madhubala's death. He immediately flew to Bombay but was late by 2 hours . At the time he reached everything was over and Madhubala's body was cremated . He just pays his last respect, and then went to her house to meet her family. He was in so pain and state of shock learning that the girl she once love the most is no more and he still can't get to see her for the last time.(Dilip and Madhubala was in relationship for 7 years but broke up due a a court case revolving around film Naya daur, dilip also confessed in the court that he will only love Madhubala till her last breath)
