Avis à la une
It's a good example of an adult comedy done right. Coop and Doug, who are played by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, both doing a good job portraying their roles. The sport created in this movie sounds good, as it's basketball mixed with baseball, with added rules like psyching people out with vulgar lies (some which, depending on your tastes, may cross the line). Then again, this movie is not for kids. As this is rated R, expect lots of foul language, sexual content, and crude humor. This is a nice adult comedy, and makes me wish BASEketball was a real sport.
Le saviez-vous
- AnecdotesTrey Parker and Matt Stone agreed to do this film under the assumption that South Park (1997) would be canceled by the time filming began. It wasn't, so they had to attend principal photography for this project during the day and produce the TV show during the night, leaving very little time for sleep.
- GaffesDuring the first championship game the announcer says Coop has hit for the cycle 7 times, We don't see the scoreboard until after Squeek and Remer hit, but after they both get hits it says 22 hits. For Coop to hit the cycle 7 times would mean 28 hits for him alone

Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: Dude, that is so fuckin' weak! How am I supposed to get a chick in that?
Joseph R. Cooper: Oh, don't worry, dude. You couldn't get a chick if you had a hundred dollar bill hanging out of your zipper.
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: Yeah I could.
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: No. Dude, you're a little bitch!
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: I am not! I don't even know why I hang out with you guys, anyway.
Joseph R. Cooper: 'Cause you're a piece of shit.
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: I am not a piece of shit!
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: Yeah, but you're a little bitch.
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: Goddammit! I swear if you guys rip on me 13 or 14 more times... I'm outta here!
- Crédits fousAfter the credits have finished there is a scene where the Bob Costas and Al Michaels have a conversation consisting only of "dude", a la the make up scene between Parker and Stone. This ends with Al Michaels turning to the screen and pulling down a screen before what one would expect to be a kiss like Parker and Stone earlier in the film...
- Versions alternativesThe VHS release features outtakes over the end credits; which are not on the DVD release.
