This movie the central characters are two young people that meet and fall in love. You both follow them and their family. It is not a movie that try to paint a nice dream world for you. Settings is in modern time Japan when the movie was made I believe..

Someone try to luring the 16 years old girl and her friends into being a hostess at a nightclub. Searching for that she meet the young guy. After that you follow what happens in the families and around them. And you mostly focus on the guys internal struggle if he should use the girl to get accepted as a gangster or follow his heart.

I found story and acting convincing. Both of the young couple did well I think.

Would I recommend this movie? I am not sure it is a great date movie :-) And as a romantic movie I do not think I would recommend it. As a gangster movie I would not either. But as a drama if you are into these topics I think it is worth trying. I think the movie is done well. Even if this not really was my type of movie it did keep my attention and I stayed curious for what would happen.
