Thought to have been lost for several decades. A print was discovered in 2013 and screened that September 27 at a midnight show at the Indiana University Cinema in Bloomington, Indiana. The screening was part of the Orphans Midwest portion of the Orphan Films Symposium, and the film was preceded by a trailer for Fleshpot on 42nd Street (1972).
Shot in nine days.
Mentioned in F. Paul Wilson's "Cold City." This is the first in the Repairman Jack: The Early Years trilogy. Set in 1990s NYC, Jack is walking thru Times Square, and Wilson lists several low budget exploitation films. "Lils Place" is described as an "ancient oldie."
