Last Call

A very slow not much happening movie. It was very boring for me. 3 couples in an apartment doing about nothing. No deep characters or so. NO Good. We were waiting for something to happen all the time and nothing happened. Even the sex scene didn't give something extra to the movie. Nobody believes that this kind of mistakes could be made in the real world. Eventually after 45 minutes we like to stop looking at the DVD but we hoped it would be better. We throw the DVD in the dustbin. Even the famous Peter Coyote couldn't give the film a special boost. The only unexpected scene was his sadistic move with a cigarette to his girlfriend.

Watching this film has been a great experience. The interaction between the different characters, specially Coyote and Cole, is cool. It somehow reminds me to an old film noir, but with a modern, and very stylish point of view. Cinematography is great, and so is the production design. The mix of flavors, Latin - Northamerican, gives a special touch to this movie. Intriguing, funny, and always with a special mood. Cool !

Last Call is a great thriller. Peter Coyote is a first rate actor, and this could pretty well be one of his best films. A great movie.

Last Call is a beautifully shot film. Peter Coyote is a fantastic actor, and this is one of his best films, for sure. An international story, with an international cast, and a Chilean flavour, mix together giving birth to a very stylish film. Really enjoyable.
