Avis à la une
The sequel to the good - at least 'good' as far as erotic B-grade thrillers go - Shannon Tweed vehicle brings back a lot of the characters from the original.
Unfortunately for the overall quality of the film - again, in inverted commas - Tweed is nowhere to be seen, and we have Tane McClure stepping in as the titular woman scorned.
It's not so much that McClure is not good - she has some good scenes, most of them sans clothes, it has to be said - it's more that Tweed was excellent in the original and set the bar high...a bar that isn't reached.
The producers would have been better off telling a similar story with a new batch of characters to avoid the inevitable comparison.
Not a bad watch, however nowhere near as good as the original.

This is probably one of the best erotic thrillers of all time. Two Beautiful women leading with a great supporting cast. Wendy Schumacher gives an excellent perfomance as a student in love with her teacher and having a boyfriend to the side. Tane McClure also stars as a gorgeous wife with a deadly past. All together this is a great movie.
Let me make it abundantly clear from the start that this is only a competent movie. But for an erotic thriller, that is a huge accomplishment. There is some clever writing, and even a plot twist or two, which is amazing for a genre that tends to favour gynecological close-ups over a solid script. This film still has a fair amount of flesh, with Wendy Schumacher filling up the screen with her gravity-defying chest, but for once, the story overshadows the skin. And although the story is only so-so, I'll give credit to the filmmakers for trying to make a good movie, and coming quite close.
An alright sequel to an excellent original. This has Tane McClure (daughter of Doug McClure) taking over from Shannon Tweed in the lead role, and although she is not as good as Tweed was, there's not much in it.
The story starts a couple of months after the original left us on tenter hooks, with Amanda Cressfield (McClure) completely recovered after her ordeal in the original and happily married to college tutor Mark (Myles O'Brien). But, when she catches him having sex with one of his beautiful students, her repressed, past memories are brought from the back of her mind and Amanda snaps, and seeks violent revenge on her husband, and anyone else who has ever wronged her...
There is a cracking story, with plenty of steamy sex to fill in the gaps, personally, I'd give it 3 stars.

Tane' McClure takes over the role that Shannon Tweed made famous in Scorned 2. Although she could pass as Tweed's sister, she can't carry this film the way Tweed carried Scorned. The story is updated as we find Amanda has moved on, re-married, and settled down. Her new hubby is a professor at the local university. She's been having flashbacks of some horrifying experience in her past (they show scenes of the first Scorned) and is tormented by them. Her husband finally gives in to the extreme temptation of being an attractive professor surrounded by extra-horny college girls. Amanda catches her husband having sex with a student in his office, and that's when it all goes downhill. Plot twist after plot twist follow, as Amanda seeks some sweet revenge on her straying husband. I'm quite familiar with some of Tane' McClure's work, and this is one of her better movies. She doesn't get an A because she's playing a character that Shannon Tweed shined in, and she just falls short a bit (but not much). This flick gets a B+, watch it if you've got time on Friday night.
