Avis à la une
UPN/Warner Bros./WB flagship perfection. A hard-hitting sitcom rife with laughs. There's no episode where I didn't laugh. One show, which was more characteristic, of the real Warner Bros. Network, UPN, not Tribune's nonsense (despite being on that crappy network) - "The Wayans Bros." is also a contender for the black "Seinfeld." Malcolm Jamal Warner and Eddie Griffin are both killer comedians. Every episode revolves around their hilarities and misadventures. And it's scored by the same guy who scored "Seinfeld," and made by Jeff Franklin Productions, which means this show could have been a Warner Bros. Show almost, much like "Minor Adjustments." See every episode. A reason why UPN stomped The WB in all their years, and I'm reviving UPN and creating WB, a real Warner Bros. Network, no "The" before "WB," no Tribune, no frog, no "dubba," "dubba," "dubba."
Eddie is great at impressions.
However, seasons 1 and 2 were crude. The way they constantly picked on Tim because of his weight as well as how Eddie constantly made comments as if Nicolette was ugly made seasons 1 and 2 disgusting and disturbing.
When they came back for seasons 3 and 4, it was a completely different show. I could get invested in the scripts, the writing was funny and they had a lot of great guest stars.

Starring one of my favourite comedians Eddie Griffin and the sometimes amusing Malcolm-Jamal Warner who you may remember from the cosby show as Theo and also co-starring the late Jaime Cardriche who tragically died in on July 28th 2000, This Show Is Based around Malcolms Pub 'McGee's' In which Eddie sometimes helps out and works there part-time but the two always seem to get into trouble due to Eddie jumping to conclusions.
Yeah right, Eddie Griffin is the man in this show, i have no doubts.I have watched all 4 seasons, and i can say very loud that this show is not that bad.
Malcolm-Jamal Warner is decent in this show but is not that partner that Eddie Griffin needs in this show.
This sitcom is based around McGee's pub, where Eddie make funny jokes about Tim all the time.
However, this show it's a decent show, lots of funny moments and Eddie Griffin's talent. This sitcom is funny because Eddie Griffin is part of it. 7 out of 10.

Le saviez-vous
- AnecdotesIn an Archive of American Television interview, Malcolm-Jamal Warner revealed that making this show frustrated him. He felt that the show's producers were pandering to Black stereotypes in order to cater to UPN's urban audience, and after his experience with 'The Cosby Show' (1984), he thought that was unnecessary; they could do better. Despite this, and tensions between him and co-star Eddie Griffin, he stayed on, hoping that the show's modest success would guarantee a good syndication deal once the show reached 100 episodes. Unfortunately, it was canceled 11 episodes short of that goal.
