Humlaa

The sets of Humlaa was where a major showdown took place. Back in 1987,Ashok Kumar's step granddaughter Shaheen Jafferey was a assistant director to Mahesh Bhatt on the film Maarg. Anil Kapoor dropped by to visit Mahesh Bhatt and spotted Shaheen. Anil then started making passes at her and attempted to openly flirt with her. Shaheen brushed him off ignoring him over and over again. Anil was persistent and would not stop till he would get her attention. Finally when Anil failed to win her over, Anil spread nasty rumors about the girl. At the time Shaheen was dating Salman Khan. Salman was a struggler trying to get a break and was known for his fiery temper. When Shaheen went and complained about Anil to Salman all hell broke loose. Salman went directly to the sets of Humlaa to bash Anil. Just as Anil was about to leave in his white car, Salman rushed up to him and grabbed him by the collar. Salman then began yelling at Anil that be would teach him a lesson for acting fresh with his girl. Salman had his fists clenched ready to fight. The Humlaa film unit quickly came and pulled Salman off Anil. Salman later denied the incident in print but admitted that Anil did misbehave with Shaheen and he had a bad attitude due to his star power.
