If you're expecting Golden Globe-level acting here, you're in the wrong place. This is hilarious softcore erotica, plain and simple.

Between the campy dialogue, the thinly veiled innuendos and the side-splitting over-the-top situations that these "ladies" find themselves into - the smile of pure glee will never leave your face.

Worth watching at least once a year.

If Asian women rock your boat, hop on board this erotic masterpiece. I didn't care for the story. I didn't care for the bumbling, hideously irritating character known as "Scholar". All I cared for was seeing more full-frontal nudity of the achingly beautiful creatures who prance across the screen in various states of undress.

There is a plethora of mouth-watering images of breasts, vaginal lips, firm bottoms, tongues, sisters engaged in lesbian loving, masturbation, wind-swept ponds of flower petals, carefree nymphs dancing through fields of swaying grass, you name it, this flick's got it...

As long as you're not expecting anything more than pure female flesh.

It's better than the self-conscious "Sex and Zen" and it leaves its own sequels in the dust.

The music, like its cast, is hypnotic, too.

Not very ghostly and not all that erotic either. I tend to be harsh on films that rip other films off without offering anything much that's new, and I'm not making an exception here. The rip-off this film does of "Witches of Eastwick" is so lamely done and unoriginal, it's almost sad. At least THAT film had Jack Nicholson at his scene-munching best. Here we have to make do with Manfred Wong who has a nice athletic bod and looks attractive with his rock-star hair extensions, but that's hardly enough to sustain this film.

Nor is the film's obsession with breasts anything to get too worked up about. There is the odd bit of full-frontal nudity (female of course, Hong Kong cinema isn't about to find equality just yet), but time and again the camera focuses on the nearest breast, no matter what else is going on in the scene. This is amateurish film-making, and is not particularly erotic either.

I find it astonishing that 20% of the IMDb users that have rated this film give it 10/10. Perfect film-making? Far, far from it.

Erotic Ghost story is an erotic horror Hong Kong movie starring Amy Yip, Man so, Hitomi Kudo and Ha Chia Ling. The movie is directed by Lam Ngai Kai.

The movie is based on the story of three sisters who have attained human form who helps a scholar and than indulge into a relationship.

The story is straight and expected but the movie is full of erotic scenes although it would be wrong to call the movie porn. The actresses are beautiful and sensual and the movie could be a perfect watch for the lovers of soft porn erotic movie.

Erotic Ghost Story is an hour and a half of smutty Hong Kong craziness that more than delivers what most viewers will be after, namely copious amounts of nudity from its three sexy stars, beautiful So Man, delectable Hitomi Kudô, and the always breastabulous Amy Yip. Happy to shed their clothes at every opportunity, these three actresses play ancient animal spirits who are in the final days of becoming human, but who find their transformation threatened when they all fall for the same man, a scholar named Wu Ming (Lap-Man Sinn), who just happens to be a wicked demon in disguise.

First to get jiggy with lucky Wu Ming is well-endowed Cat III legend Amy Yip, who works up a serious sweat satisfying the scholar. Yip is closely followed by Hitomi Kudô, who is guaranteed to send blood pressures sky high by daring to bare the most, giving viewers an eyeful of her nether regions before getting to work; So Man goes last and shows that, even though she might be the oldest, she's still got what it takes. And when the three women learn that they have all slept with Wu Ming, what do they do? They have a foursome with the fellow, of course. Phew!

The loving ends, however, when the women witness Wu Ming in his true form, as Wu-Tung, a hideous three-faced monster with huge claws who tortures a hapless young woman, tearing the skin off her face (the hilarious special effects have to be seen to be believed). Crafting a voodoo doll, the trio take revenge on the fiend, eventually seeking help from a Taoist priest who causes the demon to explode. All of this silly horror is a whole lot of fun, as is the occasional spot of daft comedy from the girls' nosy neighbours Mr and Mrs Wang.

Followed by two sequels, both of which sound just as sexy and just as bonkers. Count me in!
