Riot Games recently launched the console version of its popular Fps, Valorant, in a limited beta. And it has been a hit as players flock to play their favorite game on a controller. Launched just seven weeks ago, the Valorant Console Beta has already gotten thousands of players, and Riot just released some statistics for the early beta.

One of the stats released was that one player had played 1312 games on the Valorant console edition. This statistic translates to an average of 25 matches every single day. Fans are left to wonder just how crazy that player must be.

Valorant Console Hasn’t Even Been Out Long But It’s Already a Banger

The open beta for Valorant‘s console version kicked off on July 26, 2024, available exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series S|X. Riot Games has limited the beta to select regions, including the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Brazil.

Valorant has been in a different league for the past four years, in terms of popularity. This Riot Games shooter is quite hard to master, though. This game needs precise crosshair placement and swift reflexes to ace.

However, the game has just surfaced on consoles and will reportedly be released on July 26. Amidst these circumstances, newcomers, especially the console players, will eventually find it pretty tough to sustain in the game.

New Players Are Going Through Rough Patches in Valorant

Recently, an Xbox player vented his frustration regarding Valorant‘s miserable condition on consoles. In a now-deleted Reddit post, the player stated that the game on consoles is basically “unusable.” Not only that, despite this grave situation, Riot hasn’t yet come up with any feasible solution. Despite being in the beta phase, the kind of state the game is in right now is quite unacceptable.

Valorant‘s Deathmatch mode has become a hot topic of discussion among players, with many calling for a change to make the mode skill-based. A low-rank player expressed frustration over facing Radiant-level opponents in Deathmatch. This disparity makes it nearly impossible for lower-ranked players to warm up effectively.

Unlike Call of Duty where fans are often against Sbmm, Valorant players argue that the current system isn’t fair. Players think that having Smbb would allow for a more effective warm-up routine tailored to individual skill levels.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin got the wrestling world buzzing on Monday when he told Paul Heyman that if a WrestleMania 32 match happened he would kick Brock Lesnar’s a**. Oh, and that he would only do it if it was a Texas Death Match.

After taking the game’s servers down for a spell of maintenance in the early hours of the morning, Visceral Games has release the first post-launch patch for Battlefield Hardline across all platforms, which targets spawn fixes, weapon balancing and general improvements.

Billed as update 1.02, the handful of fixes were detailed through EA’s official Battlelog channel, where players can find a platform-by-platform breakdown. Generally speaking, though, said update introduces a bevy of much-requested features to the shooter, including reducing the amount the screen shakes when being shot, as well as preventing crashes that occurred due to specific video cards on PC.

On the other hand, consoles owners can look forward to the introduction of the Rent-a-Server mode, allowing Fps fans to rent a selected server before hosting their own private matches replete with custom settings.

Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman is in talks with Warner Bros to remake Escape to Victory.

Gavin O'Conner, the writer-director of Warrior, in on board to pen the script for the new version, which has been described as a cross between The Monuments Men and hockey film Miracle by The Hollywood Reporter.
