The reunion of a divorced couple at a wedding serves as an excuse to return to the past. She goes to the wedding of the daughter of her boss. He attends the wedding of her boss's son. When they meet after 17 years of separation, their surprise is huge. Forced to share a vehicle with some Germans who offer to take them to the wedding banquet, the few words they exchange are not exactly kind. However, the song begins to play on the radio, a melody titled ¨Tu vida y mi vida"or "Your life and my life" brings back endless records . Their marriage ended so badly that neither of them has felt the slightest desire to see each other.

The theatrical piece -plot and script by A. Marsillach- are correct but its comic or social criticism claim lacks originality and also the necessary spark to awaken a smile. The sense of humor is somewhat flawed, not very subtle, sometimes pretentious and full of clichés and common places. So the efforts of José Sacristán -also the film's director- and Concha Velasco are barely capable of developing the story in an attractive way.
