A former karate coach returns after several years of imprisonment for his once-forbidden hobby. The world around him has changed beyond recognition during this time, but the old resentment towards those who once assisted in sending him to distant places has not gone away. Other aggravating circumstances are added to it, so that revenge and another round of confrontation of the type of a lone hero against criminal structures and corrupt representatives of law enforcement agencies will not be long in coming.
Beyond the framework of this typical synopsis of the plot, a fleeting chase in a zhiguli, as well as the fact that the relatively well-known Alexander Inshakov, later involved in the creation of the cult "Brigada" (2002), made his mark here, there is nothing special to say - against the background of a scattering of other representatives of the "perestroika genre", in particular the same "Fanat" (1989), and partly "Shtemp" (1991), the film is quite secondary. However, as they say, there is no accounting for taste.
