Les intrépides

I grew up with this kind of series are very rare. Good stories, funny and action driven suspense for kids. Two siblings, Tom and Julie who have a radio show or a podcast if it was made in this era. Who dolve mysteries and help anyone in trouble in their town. Using creativity, inventions and science. Many times they get in danger but manage to get out of it.

Usually involve a finding clues fighting bad guys and meeting new people of their listeners.

Sadly this series lasted only two seasons produced in Canada originally in french but has been translated in spanish and English.

We need this kind of series now days.

A lot it was all about kids who at the time were around my age doing incredible things to help people , stop robberies, stop threats, traiters, and who knows what else, you name it, I really Really !!!! Liked this show.

They used to show this on TVO and I remember tuning in to watch it almost every single day. It was so cool! It was like the James Bond for kids. They have cool gadgets and ideas and plans, they actually get into dangerous situations and fly planes in emergencies or jump into fires or whatever. They did everything kids wanted to do. They were characters you could connect to, and it was so much fun going along with them to see them help a bunch of other kids, whatever it was. Kidnap, abuse, kidnap (there was actually a lot of this), art frauds and the like. It was a very intelligent show, and I'm glad they didn't condescend kids. This IS a real classic. In fact, I'm pretty sure I would watch the reruns, what? ten years down the road.
