It's Been 12 Years

It's been 12 years since the last review, and I am also asking that this TV movie be released for streaming & on DVD! I have not seen this in eons but it has not been forgotten!!

Oscar quality performance by Valerie Bertinelli

There is an Oscar quality performance by Valerie Bertinelli as the mother of a sub 3 year old child. While outside Macey's department store in Manhattan, she is maced and her child stolen. The remainder of the movie revolves around her effort to find her child in conjunction with a reporter of a newspaper. All performances are excellent and the plot is believable with only a slight stretch of probabilities. Definitely worth watching for Valerie's performance.

A well-rounded and most enjoyable suspense film!

I enjoyed this movie very much. The plot, about a mother's attempts to recover her kidnapped child, could have descended into unnecessary sentimentality, but did not. The movie was dramatic and suspense-filled and the characters where human and believable. Good escapist viewing!
