Condor, Los Angeles 1999

It is incomprehensible that producers could miss out on this movie. The actors are sensational. Wendy Kilbourne is fabulously beautiful, radiant and my new pin up girl. I knew her face, but have no idea where I saw her before this. I had never heard of this pilot until now. If you missed some show or movie in the 80s or 90s, then you might not ever see it, since if you missed something back then then it might get shown again in 10+ years. Ray Wise whom I never saw before also fits the bill perfectly in his role. If this show would've aired the couple would've become one of the greatest classic male female partners in TV history. The bad guy, the actress who plays the widow is also most excellent. All actors chosen for all roles are perfectly selected.

In a far-flung future -1999- Los Angeles where pallid synthesizer music drones on, and robo-women fill the fast food franchises, Chris Proctor (Ray Wise) keeps the world safe. As a member of the CONDOR group, he must track down and capture super-criminal / spy, Rachel Hawkins (Carolyn Seymour).

Together with his beautiful android partner, Lisa (Wendy Kilbourne), Proctor takes on his latest assignment with gusto.

CONDOR is one of the silliest, most absurd TV movies of the 1980's. Thankfully, this also means that it's loads of fun to watch! Wise is suitably macho, the plot is preposterous, and the futuristic fashions are fantabulous!

When I first saw it I loved the movie. I would love to buy the DVD but don't know where. If anyone knows where I could purchase it, I would appreciate it. I thought for the time that it was cool. The show was cheesy, but it had flair I like the actors and thought that they did a excellent job If you reply please include as much information as you can, please include your e-mail so that if I have any questions I can write to you. I believe that having a minimum of comment lines is silly Further when they reformat my text so that it wraps, so that their are less than ten lines is also a bit silly.

Remembering back to when I first saw this movie as a second act movie of the week on ABC after another called Northstar, It seemed really cool, lavish effects, interesting sci-fi storyline, some really cool props and of course Los Angeles the eternally cool city. Now it seems dated and kitsch but in a nostalgic way. those looking for something of a comic-book style movie with out the overt franchise names may find this movie worthwhile. Its amazing that the SciFi channel hasn't snapped this one up to show every now and then.
