Jason: [to the 'hired help'] Come on! You look great! Mom would die if she saw how you look in her dress.
Nisa: I do not wish to make your mother upset, Jay-sonn.
Jason: My Mom likes being upset. She's made it a lifestyle. Come on, I want you to meet some of my friends.

Nisa: [shots get fired] Stop!
Benjamin Maxwell: English? I'm impressed. I'm very impressed.
Nisa: Father sent me to the missionaries to learn about the white man.
Benjamin Maxwell: Right.
[nods]
Benjamin Maxwell: Honey, you get your people on these trucks. I have a forest to clear.
Nisa: This is our home.
Benjamin Maxwell: You got five minutes to get on those trucks. If you stay, you burn with the trees. Now get them on the trucks!

Jason: Where were we? Oh, yeah, that dance you taught me back there...
Nisa: The lambada?
Jason: Yeah. Why do they call it the forbidden dance?
Nisa: Twenty years ago, the government of Brazil forbid it because it was too sexy.
[chuckles]
Jason: [surprised] Get out of town!
[both laugh merrily]

[Jason and Nisa got back from dancing and Jason's parents want to talk to him alone]
Katherine Anderson: And we don't want you fraternizing with the hired help!
Jason: We went dancing, we didn't go to bed!
Katherine Anderson: Well, I shoud hope not! There's enough of those people in the world without you fathering any more.
Jason: Will you try to keep it down? She might hear you.
Katherine Anderson: I want her to hear me and I want her out of *my dress!*
Jason: About the dress...
Katherine Anderson: What about it? I hope you realize it's a Christian Dior original and it cost me more than that maid makes in a year. So get her out of it!
Jason: [angered] Okay, Okay! Fine, alright! I'll get the damn maid out of your dress!
[Jason makes a fast exit and walks to Nisa's room and finds that she has left]
