The movie has fairly good looking performers but the acting was kind of flat. There is some tension but the erotic tension is not really well played out. The most realistic type of movie about this subject is probably Cement Garden which even with its morbid portrayal of a dysfunctional family gets the tension right. Maybe the language translation was part of the issue with how this movie plays out. The actors and actress are good looking enough but without much fire basically. I actually am surprised there are not more better movies that cover this type of situation as its subject matter is something that seems to provoke some primal response. The other movie that I have seen that was kind of realistic was How to draw a perfect circle. Again anther dysfunctional situation that the actors seemed to be able to channel.

Ana(Emma Suarez) goes to Andaluzia in order to meet her beloved brother Juan(Antonio Banderas). In spite of trying so hard to avoid Ana, They retake the old paxion. Of course this relation won't last forever. Good example of Spanish movie. Strong performance of Emma Suarez. The film is full of psycholgical details, that only Freud could explain.

Ana(Emma suarez) strongly performing a madly in love sister about her brother Juan(Antomnio Banderas), goes to Andaluzia in order to find him and probably goes on with that old incestuous liaison. Juan, in spite of being madly in love about Ana too, tries so hard to avoid himself from her. Will he be able to?
