Much better than it's rating suggests. Ironside does a great job in this role. Great storytelling and plot in my opinion. Some genuinely good action/shootouts and suspense. It's definitely worth watching. The twist at the end was pretty cool too.

Christopher Plummer makes a good B-movie mad doctor. Among the hostages you'll see resembles the face of Groucho Marx. I thought this flick was about mind control! On the circumstance, this one is bogus as movies go. It's a state of confusion that offers no cure. Not even the large cast of cops at the end would save it. Rent this and make your own decision. Did you know that MINDFIELD was based on a novel? Did the director lose his mind making this book into a movie? Did I ever mention the word "bogus"?

Michael Ironside did a great job of acting in this one, as did Lisa Langlois (a real cutey.) It was nice to see Michael as the hero for once too, since he has a tendency to play a lot of villains. The plot was straight-forward and easy for me to follow (there was absolutely NOTHING that was confusing about it to me.) I also loved the ending, which I (of course) won't give away. Great camera work, a slew of great character actors. I loved the stadium scene too. Don't let other people put you off on this one. It's a great way to spend an hour and a half.
