a superb thriller!

this film gives a very thorough revelation of uncertainties in life. a lovely, peaceful family; all of a sudden met with tragic incidence of separation, suffering and disappointment.

this is a well directed film; kudos go to rajkumar for a brave direction. even though sometimes the film will appear confusing - it will brace up again with good thrill. the story flows flawlessly; i think i really appreciate the suspense.

not every one will always want to see such a disappointment happening to a family in life; but the director goes to show his thorough sense of realism.

jeetu, dharam and sunil; in fact every actor in this great movie did a good job. long awaited dharam and sunil coming together threw some sparkling into the film. i recommend the film for sporty relaxation.

Anecdotes
Jeetendra and Raaj Kumar Kohli had major problems during the making of the film. After signing the film and shooting for a day,Jeetendra sent a notice to Kohli he no longer wanted to do the film. Kohli told him no problem, as long he (Jeetendra) would pay for the sets that would now go to waste. Jeetendra agreed and backed out. Kohli stated that many stories of Jeetendra's behavior were in the media. The first was that Jeetendra did not get paid. Kohli stated this was untrue as he paid all his artistes. Kohli stated Jeetendra backed off because he realized he had a supporting role to Sunil Dutt and Dharmendra . But the role was exactly the way it was narrated to him. Jeetendra later came back into the film and apologized for his behavior. But now Jeetendra was not giving proper dates to the film causing endless delays .

Versions alternatives
The VHS version of the film ends with Dharmendra being killed by the villain (who is shown to be his father in this version of the film) while saving Reena Roy's life. In the DVD version of the film, Dharmendra is not killed and the villain is revealed to be his father's twin. Dharmendra is reunited with his real father and decides to give himself up to the law in order to pay for his crimes. We then see him being released years later and being met by Smita Patel and his son at the prison gates.
