Basically two different cuts are available. Back in the days when the movie was shown theatrically in the States a R-Rated Version was created that misses out several plot scenes and some pieces of violence.
On DVD the movie was released as an Unrated Director's Cut as well. The latter runs nearly 16 minutes longer than the old R-Rated Version.
In the UK the movie was released on VHS in a censored version missing 3 minutes in comparison to the Unrated Director's Cut. All cuts were waived for the DVD release of the movie. Again one can find a detailed comparison with pictures over here.
