Avis à la une
I was all hyped up to see this movie but when I actually saw it, what a letdown! But I did really like Jim's short moments as he impersonated different celebrities. Otherwise, I thought that I was witnessing a rough (and I do mean rough) new budding director's talents.
Overall, do not expect acting but rather a focus on Club Med, solo artists, and a great interpretation of Sammy Davis Jr. by Jim. But by all means, if you're a BIG Jim Carrey fan, get this first film with Jim in his first starring role.
This movie is highly recommended as you can't help feeling privileged to have witnessed the worse movie of all time.
I sat through the first 10 minutes thinking o.k. this is the joke ... it will get better.
never did. don't waste your money unless you want frustration !
if I could I'd say its the worst movie ever made and give it a -20 for my pain and suffering. Jim Carey must be sad that first they would hipe such trash , second using his name and reputation.
we all start some where but some times thats better forgotten .
this movie should have be shelved for good.

- AnecdotesAlan Thicke later said the film was so bad not even Jim Carrey was funny in it.
- GaffesThe entire crew is clearly visible in a woman's large mirrored sunglasses near the end.

Michelle: Everybody feels like a loser once in a while.
Bobby Todd: That's easy for you to say, you live a fascinating life; fast pace, great people, life on the road!
Michelle: It's okay, I guess...
Bobby Todd: Sure beats Grimsby, I'll tell ya! Back there you're considered worldly if ya buy your lunch at work instead of brown-bagging it!
Michelle: Aw, it can't be *that* bad?
Bobby Todd: Sometimes, we get really wild and drive to Buffalo for chicken-wings!
- Versions alternativesThe Platinum Disc DVD is missing a scene where Jim Carrey's character does a sheik impression.
