Benjamin Gilani was angry that Prakash Verma sold the film as a "sex film" by using suggestive pictures in the hoardings. A picnic scene where Radhika wore a bikini was thrown all over the publicity. Benjamin stated even the honeymoon scene was shown on the poster's as a "rape scene". Benjamin stated that Prakash Verma never had intentions to make a clean film. Had the cast knew what he wanted to make, they would have never agreed.
