Anecdotes
During the final filming days of Swami Dada, Jackie Shroff signed Subhash Ghai's Hero. Subhash asked Jackie if he could speak to Dev Anand and ask him to delete his scenes and remove him from the film. Ghai did not want his new hero to be known as a former villain sidekick. Dev Anand told Jackie is was too late to remove him from the film. The shooting was almost over and the scenes could not be re shot with another actor.
