At the end of the title sequence, Steve Austin is running towards the camera while passing a line of trees. However the trees are also "moving" forwards with him. The audience should see the trees moving backwards relative to him.
In the first few episodes, Steve Austin runs in hyper-speed, with the footage sped up. A short few episodes later, that was never repeated. Incomprehensibly, the production would merely show Lee Majors running in slow motion, with the footage slowed down, as if viewers were expected to suspend disbelief and imagine him running in hyper-speed. This made no sense. No explanation was ever given for this aberration, which put a damper in many a child's viewing enjoyment.
Although Austin's legs and right arm are bionic, nothing was done to reinforce his back and spine. As a result, most of his displays of bionic strength (lifting and throwing heavy objects, etc.) would either be impossible or would have caused crippling if not fatal injury. (Note: there was at least one mention during the course of the series that his back was in fact steel reinforced).
Steve Austin's bionic abilities are supposed to be kept secret. Yet, in several episodes he freely reveals it to people by demonstrating it or telling them.
