In a 2019 interview, Irena Kranjc said memories of this film were still vivid. "I remember the last of the auditions took place right on my birthday. Shortly after that June day, I was invited to a test shoot, in which I won a role. My parents supported me in my decision and I remember being immensely happy and brave. Maybe it's because I trusted the unforgettable director Rajko Ranfl, who stood by my side at the time and throughout the filming, as did the entire team."
Based on Branka Jurca's popular youth novel 'Ko zorijo jagode' from 1974.
