Avis à la une
This was the best movie I've ever seen. I'm not trolling. I loved it so much. It's full of comedy gold. The best part is it has TWO Ringo's. One Ringo is the best thing ever so imagine TWO Ringo's. It's a masterpiece.
This is a rare Ringo movie where one does not already have to like Ringo to enjoy it. If you're already a fan, however, then this film is fantastic, and by far Starr's funniest solo film. It's a simple comedy with a sad, yet appealing message that many people can relate to. The acting is fairly well-done and one can really feel for the characters, from Ognir's wish of a better life, to Ringo being overwhelmed at feeling of it all being too much. This is a relatable film, Music is of a Ringo quality, with only one (in my opinion) poorly executed song. Family-friendly, funny, and an easy watch for some quick laughs.
Le saviez-vous
- AnecdotesBy the time of the filming of Ringo (1978), Ringo Starr was miserable and depressed over his failed marriage and faltering solo career, a condition made worse by his heavy drinking and drug use. Outtakes show him to be testy, short-tempered and disinterested in working on the special. Starr would eventually bottom out in the late 1980s, finding sobriety in 1989 followed by a renewed career with his live rock supergroup Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band.
