Le Plus beau jour de notre vie

I just watched The Trial of the Catonsville Nine for first time and I have been waiting to see this for some time and it was well worth the wait. Everybody in the cast was great. And what a cast, Richard Jordan, Peter Strauss, William Schallert, Donald Moffatt, Ed Flanders, Douglass Watson & Nancy Malone were all excellent in this and they gave very powerful performances. It was a play that was turned into a movie and it was produced by Gregory Peck, yes the same Hollywood acting legend. The story was about the burning of the draft records in Baltimore, Maryland during the Vietnam War and most of the story took place in the courtroom. It didn't need special effects or any of the other stuff that they put in movies today. It focused on the actors and the story and it was very well done. The actors knew how to draw you in and hold your attention the entire time and it takes great actors to be able to do that and the actors in this story certainly did that. So I recommend this movie to anybody that appreciates great acting and a powerful story.
