Kama Sutra Rides Again

When I was a kid, I used to watch a Brittish cartoon called Henry's Cat, but I had no idea the director from that series also made plenty of erotic-themed shorts like this one.

From a historical perspective, it does have some interest seeing this gag cartoon as an early example of adult-aimed animation, but the overall result is a little bit forgetable, disregard of all the sexual humor.

That being said, the fact a short like this was able to get an Oscar nomination is a great achievement on itself, especially back then in the 70s.

I have to say that for its potential, this animated short fell very short. The problem is that it isn't funny. The sexual positions that are presented are impossible and, hence, just forms of acrobatics. The animation is very ordinary.
