- Walter Eastwood: [studying the envelope] It's addressed to Jane. No postmark, must be hand delivered.
- Jane Eastwood: Oh, please hand it to me.
- Walter Eastwood: [Walter retains the letter, and proceeds to open it, starts to read the letter under Jane's protests] My dear Jane, you don't know me but I see you from time to time.
