20 year-old Steven Spielberg's first 35mm film made with fellow student film-maker, cinematographer, Allen Daviau. Fourteen years later, Spielberg, (now as director of three of cinema's most successful films of all time) would reunite with Daviau, as his Director of Photography, on E.T., l'extra-terrestre (1982), La Quatrième Dimension (1983) - in this case Spielberg and Joe Dante's segments -, La Couleur pourpre (1985) and Empire du soleil (1987).
