The phrase "Sir Loin of Beef" was used in Bugs Bunny et Robin des Bois (1949) by Bugs to con the gullible Sheriff of Nottingham.
The previous post said that King Arthur was a caricature of Mel Blanc. Sir Loin of Beef looks more like Mel than King Arthur does.
