The best film of Mircea Muresan and Ilarion Ciobanu. Without many lines, Ilarion Ciobanu makes a very credible character. And the other actors are very good: Nicolae Secareanu makes an absolutely impeccable boyar, Constantin Codrescu an excellent politician who became prefect, Stefan Mihailescu-Braila in the role of a father whose daughter is raped, Amza Pellea in the role of troop commander, Adriana Bogdan as the cheating wife Nadina. I've met Mircea Muresan, I owe him my first appearance in a film, in 1974, in ""Portile albastre ale orasului" (The Blue Gates of the City). I've met him again in 2015, when he was old and almost blind.
