The Chandler Hotel which hosts the Royal Order of Civic Boosters (R.O.C.B.) Convention, was an upscale New York City hotel located at 12 East 31st Street, just a short walk from the Empire State Building. It was reported in November 2017 that the hotel, built in 1905, was being converted to housing for the homeless.

The $2,500 finder's fee Steve gets for his first "go-between" is equivalent to about $30,000 in 2024.

The large black car used for the theater robbery is a 1946 Chrysler Crown Imperial. This huge car was over 19.6 feet (nearly 6m) long and weighed 5050 pounds (2268 kg). Only 165 were made that model year, with a base price of $3,875 (about $61,500 in 2024).
