If you are Portuguese this movie has it all for you. Fado, Touradas, (Bullfights), romance, intrigue and comedy. The leading role is played by none other than the best bullfighter of his time, Manuel do Santos. The scenes in the bull ring are of Manuel dos Santos himself. The plot is an excellent one that revolves around the world of "Touros e Fado". The quintessential soul of the Portuguese. The "piece de resistance" is a cameo appearance by Amalia Rodrigues, the diva of fado that introduced the song of Portugal to the world. The performance by the entire cast was excellent but the one that really stands out is Vasco Santana. His part was practically made for his style of comedy. You will find yourself laughing, crying and applauding.

This movie will have you enthralled from the very beginning. It is indeed a must see.
