- Freddie Phillips: Old age.
- Freddie Phillips: Mr. Strickland! He's been murdered!
- Melton: Murdered? That's impossible, we don't permit murders in this hotel!
- Insp. Wellman: Were you and Relia in cahoots?
- Freddie Phillips: [having seen Relia's body] The last time I saw Relia, he didn't talk to me.
- Insp. Wellman: If I could only find Relia. I could make him talk.
- Freddie Phillips: If you could, that would be a good trick.
- Sgt. Stone: He could make him talk. You don't know Wellman.
- Freddie Phillips: You don't know Relia.
- Swami Talpur: [to Freddie in a hypnotic voice] You didn't see me... you didn't see me... you didn't see me... I wasn't here
- [leaves]
- Casey Edwards: [to Freddy] Ready to go?
- Freddie Phillips: I didn't see him.
- Casey Edwards: You didn't see who?
- Freddie Phillips: The man who wasn't here.

- Freddie Phillips: All I did was open up the door, see if the coast was clear, my mind went blank.
- Casey Edwards: Your mind's been a blank all your life.
- Freddie Phillips: I have a confession to make.

- Freddie Phillips: No, I mean that stuff
- [champagne]
- Freddie Phillips: I don't drink that stuff, that's like drinking poison.
- Angela Gordon: Oh come on...
- Freddie Phillips: Oh stop it, the bubbles' is tickling my nose.

- Freddie Phillips: I wouldn't drink it for big Angela.
- Casey Edwards: [seeing one of Freddie's booby traps] That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.
- Freddie Phillips: Oh yeah? Well let me tell you something, if the murderer comes in here alone, somebody else is gonna carry him out.
- Abernathy: [referring to bridge game] What'd she bid?
- Casey Edwards: Grand slam.
- Abernathy: [Looking at Freddie's hand] You bid a grand slam on that hand? You know what?
- Freddie Phillips: What?
- Abernathy: You're going to get murdered.
- Casey Edwards: It's Milford. Strickland's secretary.
- Freddie Phillips: What's he hangin' around here for?
- Casey Edwards: He's hang - - He's dead, you dope.
- Casey Edwards: Freddie, where did you get that gun?
- Freddie Phillips: I don't know.
- Casey Edwards: Freddie, for the last time! Where did you get that gun?

- Melton: [Melton is wearing a mask to hide his identity] Now, I'll have the handkerchief.
- Freddie Phillips: I haven't got it. But if you get me out of here, I'll take you to where it is. It's in my room. I'll take you there!
- [the killer redirects a waterfall into the hole Freddie is trapped in]
- Freddie Phillips: What are you doing?
- Melton: In two minutes, the water will be over your head.
- [flees]
- Freddie Phillips: Casey! Inspector Welman! Fine way to end up: a drain plug!
- Freddie Phillips: [upon escaping a steambox] I saw a hand turn around the corner, and he put on a lot of steam, all the steam he could put on, f-full force... I think somebody's trying to kill me.
- Insp. Wellman: I'm going to locate Milford and Relia if I have to take this hotel apart with my own hands.
- Insp. Wellman: Someone in this room knows a lot more than he or she is admitting, and I intend to find out who it is.
- Freddie Phillips: How did those bodies get in your room? I put them in the elevator!
- [realizes what he just admitted to]
- Insp. Wellman: That's good enough for me. Freddie Phillips, I place you under arrest for 3 counts of premeditated homicide. Okay Phillips, why did you kill them?
- Freddie Phillips: I didn't kill them. I don't go around killing people. But all the evidence points to me.
- Freddie Phillips: [while disguised as a chambermaid] You're so strong! Now that you dragged me out here, what do you want?
- Abernathy: How about a little smack?
- [kiss]
- Casey Edwards: [after hearing a loud noise in the next room] What happened?
- Freddie Phillips: Well, he asked for a smack, so I gave it to him.
- Freddie Phillips: I'm not going to the caverns all by myself! I'm afraid!
- Casey Edwards: Wait a minute! Would you rather die a hero or live like a rat? Well?
- Freddie Phillips: Get the cheese ready.
- Freddie Phillips: Inspector Welman? Sergeant Stone? Casey? Are you still behind me?
- Freddie Phillips: [echoing off the cavern walls] Inspector Welman? Sergeant Stone? Casey? Are you still behind me?
- Freddie Phillips: I'm all alone.
- Melton: Oh no, you're not!
- Freddie Phillips: Oh yes, I...
- [runs for his life]
- Swami Talpur: Freddie, your future is black. A terrible fate awaits you. You have nothing to live for. But you have one escape: eternal sleep. The sleep that brings peace. Sleep that goes on forever.
