One of over 700 Paramount Productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since; its earliest documented telecast took place in Omaha NE Friday 5 February 1960 on KETV (Channel 7).
Margaret Seddon and Margaret McWade are credited on screen as "The Pixilated Sisters," referring to the roles they played in L'extravagant Mr. Deeds (1936).
According to Variety, it's "quite apparent that Paramount made this farce comedy with the intent of cashing in on the nation-wide distribution of bonus money to ex-servicemen. That happened several months ago...which makes [the film] a bit dated."
