Was initially scheduled to air in the USA on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on 4 August 2019 but was taken off the schedule in March of that year after lead actress Lori Loughlin was arrested for her involvement in the Varsity Blues scandal and has never aired on television in the country. It was eventually made available on the streaming service Hallmark Movies Now (since rebranded Hallmark+) in October 2022, long after it had aired or been made available in other countries such as Canada, France, Spain or Australia. It was meant to have been followed by the 17th, 18th and 19th films in the series which were all greenlit, scheduled to shoot in first half of 2019 and all air in August 2019 a week apart from one another. However Loughlin was arrested with one week left to shoot on the 17th film, Three Little Murders, which was never completed, and the 18th and 19th films were canceled.
Irene is the third different character played by April Telek in the movie series, after Garage Sale Lady in La boutique des secrets (2013) and Anne McNary in Une passion meurtrière (2017).
Leon Ames is the second different character that Alvin Sanders has portrayed in the movie series, after Father Clark in La Robe de la mariée (2015).
