Window Dressing

This horror short film is quite well-done and enjoyable. It's not overly complex-just classic uncanny horror, with a character locked in a room full of mannequins covered in sheets-but it looks surprisingly professional.

In fact, I could easily imagine this being expanded into a longer piece, perhaps as an episode in Tales from the Crypt or another horror anthology series. Given that Window Dressing runs under five minutes, it's impressive how much it delivers in such a short time. It manages to tell a coherent story, establish a dark atmosphere, build suspense, and deliver a satisfying horror climax. A very enjoyable viewing experience indeed.

Its basic virtue is the precision. The old lady looking for help for her small shop. The enthusiastic young woman. The first task. And the last . A task interesting and provocative because it reminds the fears of the viewer in splendid manner. The real good thing / this short horror is part of noble old fashion family of genre.
