I have been hooked since the first season came out two years ago. Each episode is 2+ hours long, and they have about 20 episodes for the main seasons. At this point they have 2 main seasons, 2 bonus seasons, a new main season coming out in 5 days, and a live series as a continuation of the first season. (Each main season has the same players but different characters) There is a reliable and fun fan base, they update their audience frequently, the show is funny, quick, and exhibits real character development. I highly recommend to anyone, regardless of their dnd experience but I warn you, this show will make you want to play and almost forces you to annoy your friends with references. The dungeon master is highly skilled, funny, and amazing at improv. Watch this and you will not regret it.

There are few shows more perfect than Dimension 20. If you DON'T like "theater of the mind" shows, this is not for you - this is a live-play D&D series, D&D is a tabletop roleplaying game and so you're essentially watching a group of people playing a board game - in the case of Dimension 20, the "board game" is a multi-hour long epic of fantasy and adventure, played by a group of hilarious College Humor comedians/improv artists that keep things witty, fun, and funny. So be warned! There's no animation, there's not scripted scenes - its all happening "live" (its improv! An improv board game!). The selling points: Incredibly unique use of visual aids and game maps that surpass any other D&D show you've ever seen (eat your heart out Critical Role), the shortened episodes keep the pacing fast (D&D sessions are normally 4 hours, whereas Dimension 20 runs a very reasonable 2 hours most of the time), Brennan's incredibly powerful ability to keep a story moving at lightning speed in a way that feels accessible/easy to understand/fun, and the guest stars that come in are the glue that hold the thing together (players tend to rotate by season or Dimension 20 universe - there are several diff universes). Tl;dr Its all very funny and entertaining and its like watching a group of people act out a storybook but the storybook is improv'ed and exciting and awesome. RPG lovers, Fantasty/Adventure lovers, Scifi lovers, Bookworms, Nerds, and Nerds alike - this show is the one for you.

Being a fantasy nerd and former player of D&D myself. I felt hugely intrigued, when I saw the trailer for Fantasy High. The moment I finished watching Ep.1, I became hooked. I love the chemistry between the players, the story, the setting of Eguefort Adventuring Academy and the characters each player made.
As things progress; I wonder if we'll see centaur janitors, pixies as cheerleaders, gargoyles as stoners and other cliques or staff given a fantasy revamp

I never played or watched D&D, let alone very many TTRPGs before watching Dimension 20. I started with the unsleeping city and my love for it grew as I went. I recommend it to Sabrina. It's funny and sad and honestly been such a bright spot during the pandemic.
I've never been able to get past the cringe factor when watching people play D&D, but CollegeHumour somehow just OWNS it!
The setting is kind of farcical, but not to the point that the characters can't evolve with each session. And watching the actors improvise and adapt while playing is just pure joy.
10/10 Stars. I'm on episode 5, Fabian and his papa are just about the best thing I've ever seen.
