Everybody's Everything

I reckon some won't even read my review and will go with not helpful, based on my (trademark) no pun intended subject line/headline. I did not know the musician - but I had heard about this documentary ... the buzz was there. A couple of friends had mentioned this. I reckon if you like his music - there is some ground to love what the documentary does ... what it uncovers about him and his life and his rise to fame ... and a few other things of course.

That all said, I can also see that some people would not be able to take anything from this ... and I am not saying you have to be Goth or love music (generally) ... but there could be some co-relation ... just be aware ... which most seem to are ... what you are about to watch.

I had heard of Lil Peep before but never bothered to listen to his music, but I thought I'd give this film a watch, glad I did and cried a lot throughout.

Very sad to watch as someone who nothing about Gus/Lil Peep; it showed his gentle human side that used drugs as a way of coping with life and the pressures of being a rap artist and trying to keep everyone happy. Very well filmed and I really enjoyed the montages of childhood video memories with his Grandpa's vocals over the top reading back the letters he'd send Gus. Very poiniant and beautiful to watch. Heartbreaking also, I cried a lot during this as it touched nerves for me.

I really recommend watching this and I have a new found respect for Gus, RIP..

I'm a big Peep fan and I was really excited to see this documentary. But I was also skeptical about this movie, I was afraid that the movies directors and the crew would to denigrate Goth boi clique.

My fears were disproved, this documentary keeps a neutral point in it's storytelling. It lets many different sides tell the story of Lil Peep. And it also shows many different sides of Peep both the bad, the good, the sad and the happy.

The only downsides of the documentary is that some topics they just touches the surface of and sometimes the editing felt a little of. To specify the placement of some of the interviews were a little strange

But overall the movie shows things that I think were few people know about Lil peep. It's a beautiful homage and summary of Peeps life, mind and career.

RIP GUS, I will always love you <3

This documentary tells you about the life of Gus and teaches a lesson about not judging people for what they look like on the outside but for what they look like in the inside. As a huge Lil Peep fan myself, it was very emotional but a great documentary. Took my mom with me who doesn't even listen to rap and even she said that it was one of the best documentaries she's ever seen. I recommend this to everybody who has an open mind. The people who are hating on this movie are the same people who will never understand other's perspectives and keep judging.

Malick as an executive producer is so cool, a compelling documentary.
