An episode of the program "Il Pappafreud" by Ottavio Rosati for Raisat Gambero Rosso, written and conducted with Alfredo Antonaros. The television game is based on the idea that Sigmund Freud was reincarnated in Teto, a Cacatoa Alba. The Pappafreud goes around markets and restaurants where it collects the tickets left by the public with a series of questions about the world of food.

Anecdotes
During the recording of 'Il Pappafreud', the young television director, who was devoid of any psychological culture, insisted that Rosati and Antonaros, as well as an ironic and brilliant tone, gave the program an atmosphere of tension and suspense similar to that of a thriller. The director's claim had something comical and fueled the laughter of the conductors and, consequently, the joy of the parrots in the studio.

Gaffes
During a discussion in the studio between Rosati and a vice-director of Gambero Rosso, the parrot Teto began to scream in protest and reacted to an insult of the 'enemy' by pecking his ear. Unable to fire the pet, the man kicked a piece of furniture. Rosati apologized, shifted Teto to a chair and dabbed the ear's blood with his tie. During the recording of the program Rosati said that his tie was stained with tomato sauce because of the Pappafreud.

Crédits fous
The large cage in the studio that housed the squirrel Panza del Ventre was offered by the Terenziani Company that produced it under the name "Habitations for Animals". The scenographer of the canal furnished it with pine branches and pieces of bark without using wire or ropes but only roots found in the woods. Every week the set designer brought new pine cones and the studio was flooded with the scent of resin.

Versions alternatives
The Pappafreud caught the attention of the Japanese television that sent a large troupe with a sweet actress loved by the children to interview Rosati in his house in Trastevere and resume the parrot Teto, not in the studios of Rai Sat but in his favorite restaurant. This service ended at the ancient restaurant 'Romolo alla Fornarina' where Teto-Pappafreud at the table with his tutor and the writer Fernanda Pivano ate spaghetti alla Carbonara using the paw as a fork. After the work the whole troupe ordered the same dish.
