Bumping Mics with Jeff Ross & Dave Attell

No Gilbert, I will NOT love "Bumping Mics". I could tell in the first few seconds of the first episode. Also, Gilbert does talk like that in real life, at this point he can't even help it.

You guessed it, this show is strictly for people in the Village. Tell me, where do these two get the amazing huge courage to tell us jokes based on taking shots at each other? Everything is in the "You look like the- from-" format. Horrible. Just absolutely horrible. You can't even appreciate this show if you were balls deep drunk in a jacuzzi of vodka with a pound of Purple Haze.

When they are not taking shots at each other, they are pretending they can see something funny in the audience, and the audience, probably paid to be there, laughs so comically at their "jokes". It's either that, or I just can't appreciate a single laugh directed at the "jokes" from these two.

Are you kidding me? The only funny thing about this entire show would be a reveal at the end telling us how everything was just a trolling adventure at our expense to both waste our time and annoy us as much as possible in the process.

Are you kidding me?? The show Kidding on the other hand, that's a funny show.

"You look like a cancer patient but without the weight loss" if you think that joke is very offensive and unfunny you won't like this show. That's a litmus test. On the other hand some of us enjoy listening to jokes that can be offensive and "trashy". I laughed a lot during the 3 episodes.

Dave Attell is great but this show isn't. The first episode is almost entirely devoid of laughs. It's just a celebrity schmooze fest. Awful. I wasn't going to bother with any more of it but episode 2 has Gilbert Gottfried and Bob Saget. They do not disappoint. It's good when one of them is talking.

Make no mistake, this show stinks. If you'd never seen Dave Attell before you'd wonder what all the fuss is about. The Mic bump signals when you're supposed to laugh. Otherwise you wouldn't know.

Some things on Netflix are truly great. Dave Attell is truly great, but to make such a dull show with such great talent makes me fear for the future of comedy. Episode 3 might be fantastic. I'll never know because I'm not going to watch it.

Thank God Mitch Hedberg is dead.

I don't get the high reviews here. These two guys offer nothing novel, creative or funny.

I'm thinking that reviewers under 25 years old are leaving the high ratings.

The other comedians on the show are OK but I think they had been censored by the two mooks so as not to steal the thunder .

Mediocre at best with a lot of hype.

Just having Gilbert Godfried come on is about the funniest point there is. These guys act like they are world famous comedians but are actually just Johnny come latelys with no ammo in their guns. Jeff Ross has a few good lines in various roasts but attell has never been worthy of a chuckle. See the new gong show that lasted about a minute. Absolutely ruined a classic.
