Avis à la une
So this is a badly made psychopathic killer flick. He has psychological problems as a kid and goes through 3 stages of being hospitalized and released. Each time he comes out killing again. Does this really happen? I certainly hope not but you do often hear of wackos being released and committing more crimes. But in this case, the guy just offs everyone. It just seemed really unbelievable and stupid to me. And the end was lame.

I actually regret watching this film and I don't know why anyone thinks it's great. I don't care that this guy's life is a mess, he's as crazy and cruel as he always was, and the producers didn't plan to get rid of him, which is so upsetting and offensive. I just hope we can see him suffer soon.
As a mental health therapist this movie was insulting. As just a person watching it...well it's still really bad. I never leave reviews, but I felt compelled.
According to DSM-5, The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition of 2013 the main caracter will overthrow every decent criteria due to bearing symptoms of mental illness that can corroborate with every single diagnosis herein listed. its a film about madness, a great sad mad story about a boy that wnt through neglect as child and adolescence, a father that gave beating as attentive measures, being bullyed at school, until the moment of cataclysmic rage, and a kill is done.
if you like mental stuff, this is an eyeopener, if youre not then dont view, and caution should be made if your depressed or if you have a tendency to any kind of sosio-psychopatic narcicissm disorder, because the flashes, the intens soundeffects, the fast shifting eeg flashing moments of madness, may inspire the disorder to freak out.
but its also a film about a boy whos angst are very visual and whos bad luck makes you feel sorry for him ,and when he starts to clear out all the knots in his life , you will almost for surtainallow him to do these revengeful acts . its a cruel story for sure, when a borderline is boarded onboard ss freud.
production do have some issues, and a very stakkato rythm, from being acdc'ed and thunderstruck by loud sound, and scared hyper due to nervegrinding kind of score, and given TIA's from the flashing lights, youll be dead meat in the end.
acting are good, especially in the child years of the story, though the casting crew has done a decent choice of actors.so to end a psycheledic story, its a recommend from the grumpy old man

This movie just kinda felt like it took concepts from "Joker", but the moral is a bit more diluted. Plus, Joker was actually a really good movie. There was more killing involved in this, and it seemed like it was more for the sake of chaos for a derranged psychopath than revenge. I'm not saying it was too dark for me because it wasn't (but it was very dark), but movies like this are why it really just urked me that so many people had their panties all in a knot about Joker. To them, this movie would be Joker on steroids.
I wasn't routing for the bad guy in this like I was with Joker. Only 1 or 2 of the victims really deserved death (and the one definitely did. You'll know which). Now you could say that about Joker too, but he killed a lot less people and for the sake of argument, The Joker is an actual supervillain character who is notorious for wreaking havoc. I feel that both movies were kinda trying paint the same picture, but Joker delivered the message much more tastefully. At the end of the day, I wasn't real impressed with this movie, but I didn't totally hate it.
Here is one of the reasons that I am having such a heavy emphasis on comparing this movie to Joker. The director walked himself into this one. The dude paints his face at the end in this movie, which made no sense. It was completely pointless and added nothing to the character or the story's conclusion. He's not The Joker, nor was he a clown, a comedian, a mime, or anything that would justify the act of applying the face paint. Maybe they threw that in there as a tribute to Joker (although this guy honestly looked more like someone who was very, very drunk on halloween and couldn't decide if he wanted to be Heath Ledger's Joker or The Crow). I personally thought that part was stupid. I don't know what they were going for there, but it was way out of place in the movie.
