Nothing new to offer.

Typical kunjchacko Boban movie, cute hero in a village and a beautiful heroine. The good thing with these kinds of movies is that the whole family can watch. My review is for the lack of substance, nothing exciting. Hareesh and Vijayraghavan the two people why I finished the movie.

Way below average LJ movie

I found the movie really boring. One would wonder the maker is only obsessed with thattumpuram. Several moments in the move do not make any sense. Frankly a big disappointment to see such films from LJ.

Simple & Beautiful

Thoroughly enjoyed. Considering Kunchacko Boban's recent films (Johny Yes papa, Mangalyam Thantunana...etc.), this one is a big relief. The movie is nicely set in a village environment. Even though, story-wise nothing new to offer, the presentation is decent with nice one-liners here and there.

Lal Jose's feel-good comedy Thattum Purath Achuthan (ENG: Achuthan in the Attic) definitely has some feel-good moments as his lead star (Kunchacko Boban) takes on the role of the messenger/helper of God in this breezy story that should be enjoyed for its elements of magical realism albeit with a pinch of salt because of its ordinary, cliched shades.
